BMS manufacturers in India

A battery management system (BMS) is the electronics inside a battery pack that measures every cell's voltage and temperature, balances the cells and disconnects the pack if anything goes outside safe limits. It protects the battery; it does not decide how the battery is used across the day. The companies below design and make BMS hardware in India.

Run it all as one plant with Ingro EMS

The BMS keeps the cells safe; the EMS decides what the battery does. Ingro EMS reads the BMS over CAN or Modbus, respects its charge and discharge limits, and uses the battery against the site's tariff, solar and load, so the two work as layers rather than competing for control.

Ingro EMS is a made-in-India battery energy management system: one controller on site that runs battery storage, solar, diesel and the grid against your tariff, with a console and reports you can watch on a screen or your phone. It talks to equipment over open protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, CAN, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104, so it is not tied to any one brand on this list.

Questions

2 questions

A BMS works inside the battery: it monitors and protects the cells. An EMS works at site level: it decides when the battery charges and discharges, alongside solar, diesel and the grid. A BESS needs both.

It is possible but rarely worth it; the BMS is tuned to the cells and is part of the pack's certification and warranty. It is far more common to add or replace the EMS above it.
