Solar · India
A solar inverter converts the panels' DC output into AC for the site or the grid, and tracks the panels' maximum power point. String inverters dominate rooftop and C&I projects; central inverters are used in large plants; hybrid inverters add a battery port for homes and small businesses. The companies below sell solar inverters in India.

Most sites have inverters from more than one brand. Ingro EMS sends power limits to each of them over Modbus or SunSpec, so the site stays inside its export limit and solar is shared sensibly between the load and the battery.
Ingro EMS is a made-in-India battery energy management system: one controller on site that runs battery storage, solar, diesel and the grid against your tariff, with a console and reports you can watch on a screen or your phone. It talks to equipment over open protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, CAN, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104, so it is not tied to any one brand on this list.
2 questions
An inverter that handles both solar panels and a battery, so it can store surplus solar and back up the load during an outage. It is common in homes and small commercial sites.
Zero export means the solar plant must not push power back to the grid. It needs a meter at the grid connection and a controller that limits the inverters in real time. Most current inverters accept a remote limit; check the supplier's documentation.
