Battery storage · India
Cells are the building block of every battery system, and packs group them with wiring, a BMS and an enclosure. India is building its own cell manufacturing under the PLI scheme for advanced chemistry cells, while many pack makers assemble imported cells locally. The companies below make cells, packs, or both.

Figures on each card are as the company publishes them, and the pages we took them from are under Sources on the card; NA means we could not find a published figure. However good the cells, how hard they are worked decides how long they last. Ingro EMS reads the BMS data from the pack and schedules charge and discharge within the limits the cell maker sets, and Ingro Brain tracks state of health over time so you can see degradation coming.
Ingro EMS is a made-in-India battery energy management system: one controller on site that runs battery storage, solar, diesel and the grid against your tariff, with a console and reports you can watch on a screen or your phone. It talks to equipment over open protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, CAN, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104, so it is not tied to any one brand on this list.

Cell manufacturing in India is ramping up, backed by the government's PLI scheme for advanced chemistry cells, but many packs sold today still use imported cells assembled locally. Ask suppliers directly where the cells in their packs are made.
A cell is a single electrochemical unit. A pack joins many cells in series and parallel, adds a battery management system, sensors, wiring and a housing, and is what you actually install.
