Solar · India
Solar panels (PV modules) turn sunlight into DC electricity. India has built a large domestic module industry, helped by the ALMM list that public and subsidised projects must buy from and by the PLI scheme. The companies below make modules in India for utility plants, commercial rooftops and homes.

Panels produce when the sun shines, which is rarely when the load peaks. Ingro EMS runs solar together with the battery, the grid and diesel, storing surplus solar instead of curtailing it and holding export within your limit.
Ingro EMS is a made-in-India battery energy management system: one controller on site that runs battery storage, solar, diesel and the grid against your tariff, with a console and reports you can watch on a screen or your phone. It talks to equipment over open protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, CAN, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104, so it is not tied to any one brand on this list.

The Approved List of Models and Manufacturers, maintained by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Government-backed and subsidised solar projects, including PM Surya Ghar rooftop subsidies, must use modules from listed manufacturers.
There is no single best. TOPCon modules are now widely made in India and offer better efficiency than older Mono PERC. Look at the temperature coefficient too: a lower figure means less loss on hot days.
